1.4 (heks-linux dconf)

1.4.1 Parameters

Parameter: dconf-config-dir

Default value:

"/root/.local/bin"
Parameter: dconf-config-filename

Default value:

"write-heks-linux-dconf-settings"

1.4.2 Procedures

Procedure: flatten-dconf-settings xs

Flatten a two-level dconf settings tree into (path . value) pairs. The input is a list of (path (key . value) ...) groups; the result pairs each nested key with a fully qualified dconf path such as /heks-linux/lang.

Procedure: heks-linux-dconf-settings

Return the Heks Linux dconf settings as a two-level tree. Values are pre-quoted for dconf where its typing expects it, and the tree is keyed by the /heks-linux schema path so it can also be read back with dconf dump.

Procedure: install-dconf-config

Write the dconf writer script to dconf-config-dir with mode #o755. Local overrides are read from $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/heks-linux/dconf-settings.scm first. The script is run from the session startup so these settings survive on machines where no desktop environment manages them.

Procedure: mk-dconf-writer-commands x

Render one (path . value) pair as a shell line that sets it with dconf write. The line echoes the path before writing it, which is what makes the generated script readable when it is run by hand.

Procedure: mk-nested-dconf-writer-commands xs

Flatten a nested dconf settings tree and render every entry as a dconf write shell line. This is the entire body of the generated writer script, minus its header.
